DISH Hopper, Second-Screen and Mobile Apps - Game Finder

Hopper Apps Updates

The Hopper sports app known as Game Finder showcases all the Tournament games in an easy to navigate location. This app also allows users to tune in to, or record, upcoming games from this app directly.

For 2013 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament DISH Network has made some new features in the app, including –

  • Faster navigation and access to sports scores
  • The ability to sort games by conference that allows viewers to find must-see games quickly
  • The option to hide blacked out games.

Second-Screen and Mobile Apps Updates

Have you seen the new DISH Explorer app for iPad? Then you must’ve noticed that the app now includes a new tab named “NCAA Tournament” on the main screen. This tab allows you to see upcoming games, times and channels in a flash.  And you can also set recordings easily. You can join the latest sports conversation on Twitter via the app!

DISH Explorer allows fans to quickly find their favorite teams; locate and record upcoming games easily; view score updates, and  receive real-time, updates about which games are the most exciting (using Thuuz technology) right on their screen.

Last but not the least, the improved DISH Anywhere app allows you a faster experience. You can watch live and recorded Tournament games from home anywhere on Internet-connected smartphones, tablets, and PCs at no extra charges with help of the Hopper’s new built-in Sling capabilities.
